Joel Moreno Cobo, the man charged in the deadly road rage shooting that happened in Ybor City on Nov 14th, was denied bond yesterday. He’s been charged with 2nd degree murder, after allegedly shooting and killing Dedrick “DJ ShyGuy” Sykes.
According to court documents, Moreno Cobo told detectives he felt threatened because he didn’t know what Sykes was getting out of his Jeep to do. He also told investigators that he didn’t see any weapons on Sykes or hear him make any threats.
