What would you change about your proposal if you could go back and redo things? 50% said they wouldn’t change anything. So even if it didn’t go perfect, we’d keep those imperfections, because that’s what makes it special. The other half WOULD change at least one thing about it. The average was TWO things they’d like to go back and change.
Here are the five most common things we’d change about our proposal . . .
1. The location. Like proposing on a beach instead of at Arby’s.
2. The delivery. Like did you get down on one knee?
3. Having friends and family involved. It doesn’t say if people wish they had or hadn’t.
4. The weather.
5. What was said. So, either the proposal sucked, or the reaction sucked.
Despite all that, the average person would give their proposal an A-minus. 40% said an A-plus.
The poll also found couples in 2024 can’t wait to share the news. One in four will post photos on social media within an hour of their proposal.
