Diddy is appealing his conviction and sentence in his federal criminal case. His counsel filed a notice of appeal in federal court in New York. Diddy’s team is expected to file its brief for the appeal within four to six weeks. The Judge recommended that Diddy serve his time as close as possible to the New York City metropolitan area. Diddy’s attorneys requested FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey as his prison assignment. There was some speculation on President considering granting a Presidential pardon to Diddy but a spokesperson for the President has denied these claims, stating that there is “zero truth” to the speculation.
TMZ is reporting and standing by their story that according to their source, the President is “vacillating” on a commutation. Some of the W.H. staff are urging Trump not to commute the sentence but their source states the obvious -- “Trump will do what he wants,” and we’re told Trump could set Diddy free as early as this week. And it was also released that Diddy woke up in prison with a knife pressed to his throat. According to his close friend, the attack went down during one of the nights Diddy was sleeping at MDC Brooklyn. Sources familiar with the situation have confirmed its authenticity to TMZ.
